Öresundskraft increases district cooling capacity with absorption chiller
Öresundskraft, Sweden supplies district cooling to customers in Helsingborg's city centre. In order to meet the increased demand on district cooling and to improve the economic and environmental aspects of district cooling, Öresundskraft has ordered a 5 MW absorption chiller from us.
The absorption chiller will use district heating as energy source. It will be cooled with sea water, then also providing free cooling in the Winter season. Öresundskraft is presently erecting a new building for the chiller and adherent Equipment. The chiller was lifted into the building a few weeks ago. Commissioning will take place in spring 2018.
